A guy on the photo to your left is me, Roman. I am an engineer who is currently enjoying life in St. Petersburg, Russia. I design high availability systems for the Web. I am addicted to languages.

Language is a form of creative expression, and I truly believe it to be one of the greatest gifts bestowed upon us by the nature.

Not so long ago, I realized that the true reason behind my language obsession is a desire to explore the world, to find a deeper understanding and appreciation for life and culture that surrounds us.

I find great joy in writing, and with every new piece I learn to shape my thoughts better. I intend to make it a life-long endeavor.
